We collect only what we need to handle an order.

• Contact details you give us at checkout: your name, email address and phone number, and any note you add to the order.
• Order details: what you ordered, the batch it came from, the price, and any discount code used.
• Delivery details: a delivery address, if you give us one when we arrange delivery.
• Bookings: the pickup, delivery or consultation time you choose.
• Your checkout confirmations: a record that you confirmed your age and our research-use terms, with the date, the version of the terms, and the IP address and browser type used.
• Payment records: the amount, method and reference of a payment once it is made. Payment is arranged with you directly. This site does not collect or store card or bank details.
• Messages: emails you send us and our replies.

Like any website, the servers that deliver this site also keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP address and the pages requested.

• To confirm, arrange payment for, and deliver your order.
• To send you emails about your order and any booking you make.
• To answer your questions.
• To keep the records we rely on to show that our products are sold for laboratory research only.
• To prevent fraud and misuse of the site.

We do not send marketing emails, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information.

The site uses one cookie, which remembers your cart for up to 30 days. It holds a random identifier and nothing about you. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that follow you across sites.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process your information on our behalf and only to provide their service.

• Vercel hosts the website and stores lab report files.
• Neon hosts the database that holds orders.
• Resend sends our order and booking emails.
• Cloudflare runs our domain and routes email sent to us.
• Google provides the mailbox where we read and answer your emails.
• Delivery carriers receive your name and address when an order is shipped.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We keep order records, including your checkout confirmations, for as long as we need them for our business, tax and legal record-keeping. A cart that is never checked out is tied only to the cart cookie, not to your name.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to sales@avoaminos.com from the email address you ordered with. We will delete what we are not required to keep, and tell you if there is anything we have to retain. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your local privacy law.

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and order records are available only to us through a password-protected admin area. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site is for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
